The Louisiana Construction Education Foundation has received a $25,000 contribution from the Alliance Safety Council in support of LCEF's grantmaking work across Louisiana.
The Alliance Safety Council is a Baton Rouge-based nonprofit that provides safety training, workforce development, and professional education services to the industrial and construction sectors throughout the Gulf Coast region. The organization's contribution reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to quality craft training and building a stronger skilled workforce pipeline in Louisiana.
"Thank you to the Alliance Safety Council for this generous contribution," said Connie Fabre, President and CEO of LCEF. "Support from organizations like Alliance Safety Council makes it possible for LCEF to fund more programs, reach more students, and invest in the kind of training that prepares Louisiana workers for long-term careers in the construction industry."
LCEF uses contributions to fund grants supporting construction education programs, scholarships, equipment, and instruction for students pursuing careers in Louisiana's trades. All funded programs must meet or exceed NCCER certification standards.
